Molash Ride is 12-14 miles long through Challock Forest, bridle paths and farmland - by kind permission of the Forestry Commission and local landowners. Optional jumps around the course.

Those wanting a LONG DISTANCE RIDE may go round the course twice but must start early and indicate their intention to do the long course on the entry form.

Proceeds are in aid of: Pilgrims Hospice (Canterbury), Kent Air Ambulance, Molash Church Restoration Fund and Perry Wood Winkle Club.

Entry fees: £10 (16 & under), £12 (17 & over) or £14 (twice round). Late entry fee of £1.

Will riders please bring cheques or money for the Riding Fee to the Secretary before riding
Every rider who completes the course will receive a rosette

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • Please send entry forms and a stamped addressed envelope for starting time and ride number, to be with the Secretary by Saturday 28th August 2010
  • Please make cheques for entry payable to: "Molash PCC Charity Ride".
  • Riders will be allocated a starting time and notified about a week beforehand. Please bring this card to the start.
  • Riders will start at intervals between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm
  • Requests to ride together should be made on the entry form. Preferred starting time considered in order of receipt of entry form.
  • A map will be displayed at the start showing check points. The route will be clearly signposted.
  • Riders MUST report to the Ride Secretary at the START when they will be given a number which must be worn.
  • Riders may retire at checkpoints where they MUST report retirement to the Steward.
  • All riders MUST report to the Secretary at the FINISH immediately on finishing to collect their rosette and sponsor form.
  • The committee accepts no liability for any accident or damage to persons, horses or property, however caused.
  • Riders without HARD HATS and SUITABLE FOOTWEAR will not be allowed to ride.
  • No smoking or galloping please on Forestry Commission land.
  • Stewards have authority to order withdrawal in case of distress either to horse or rider.
  • Will riders please remember that permission to enter private land is FOR THE DURATION OF THE RIDE ONLY.
  • The British Red Cross Society will be in attendance.
  • A Doctor and Vet will be on call.
